
Our Team
The core focus of this section is on the management of energy and water resources. It also handles inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks related to civil engineering, architecture, electrical and plumbing systems, air conditioning, and fire safety. These range from minor repairs to medium- and large-scale renovation projects. With the goal of supporting teaching, serving faculty and students, and enhancing the physical teaching environment, the section is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and optimal environment for teaching, research, and learning across the campus.

Section Chief
Tung, Sheng-Hsin
Duties
- Promote and administer duties based on the orders of Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director.
- Responsible for all matters related to planning and overseeing energy management.
- Responsible for planning and overseeing Taoyuan campus building construction.
- Responsible for planning and overseeing all electrical and plumbing tasks on Taoyuan campus.
- Responsible for assignments and conducting personnel evaluations within the Section.
- Responsible for official documents and related form approvals.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Senior Clerk
Lin, Hsiao-Hui
Duties
- Complete tasks assigned by the Section Chief.
- Responsible for official documents and related form approvals.
- Indoor Air Quality Specialist for Taoyuan Campus.
- Responsible for all matters related to implementing energy management and managing power monitoring system.
- Responsible for assisting in managing e-platform.
- Set air-conditioning for venues borrowed by administrative and academic units (electronic official documents).
- Monthly water, electricity and oil consumption statistics.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Special Program Clerk
Shih, Wen-Yao
Duties
- Complete tasks assigned by the Section Chief.
- Responsible for official documents and related form approvals.
- Responsible for changing of drinking fountain filter cartridges and conducting water quality inspection.
- Responsible for handling Taoyuan campus equipment maintenance vendor affairs (central air-conditioning main unit, cooling water tower cleaning, drinking water pool cleaning, generator maintenance, fertilizer removal treatment, elevator maintenance and high-voltage substation maintenance).
- Water and utilities monthly meter reading for outsourced vendors.
- Responsible for reporting fire-related incidents and recharging fire extinguishers.
- Responsible person for Taoyuan campus energy management and energy audit declaration.
- Responsible for liaison with power supply vendors in advance of MCU anniversary, graduation ceremony and other special major events regarding high voltage demand, and informing Taipower to not cut off power at these times.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Special Program Clerk

Hsiao, Ko-Ching
Duties
Responsible Areas: Q Building, Gymnasium, Food Service Facility II, EE Building, Football and Track field (including four post lamps located in the track field).|

- Responsible for electrical equipment and plumbing facilities maintenance and small-scale repairs in the areas listed above.
- Responsible for periodic equipment inspection and maintenance in the areas listed above.
- Responsible for assisting MCU general laborers in setting up for supplying power for MCU Anniversary, graduation ceremony, Christmas holiday and other events.
- Other tasks as assigned.(Responsible for the 3rd, 4th dormitory-related assigned tasks during morning working hours).

Special Program Clerk

- Other tasks as assigned. (Responsible for 1st dormitory-related assigned tasks during morning working hours).

Special Program Associate Clerk

- Responsible for electrical equipment and plumbing facilities maintenance and small-scale repairs in the areas listed above.
- Responsible for periodic equipment inspection and maintenance in the areas listed above.
- Responsible for campus-wide electrical and plumbing emergency assessment and repairs during night hours (after 16:40).
- Exterior campus lighting (including bulletin boards), outdoor basketball and volleyball court, outdoor parking lot, wooden path, barbecue area electrical and plumbing, International Walkway, wall lighting between main and side gate, MCU signage in front of the gate and maintenance of four post lamps located in the track field.
